Naughty Dog has “several nice things” in preparation
It seems that the developer of The Last of Us, Naughty Dog has nice projects in preparation-or at least, according to the co-president of Naughty Dog, Neil Druckmann, they do.
Druckmann teased on his Twitter page earlier during the day that the developer worked on “several interesting things”.
“If you tweet me, you ask questions about a future project, I can’t say anything… Please stay patient. We have several interesting things that we look forward to sharing with you. As soon as we can, we will!
Unfortunately, Druckmann did not obtain additional information on what these interesting things could be. Given his request for patience for fans, it is unlikely that we will see these things in the predictable future.
This is not the first time in recent memory that Druckmann has been teasing the fact that the developer has been working on something cool, publishing a very similar statement earlier this year. Druckmann shared a job announcement from Naughty Dog last January, declaring: “Come work with us! We do something very cool! ».
It is difficult to say what Naughty Dog works on and if it is a unique or multiple project.
Given the incredible reception of the game winner winner, The Last of Us Part II, it is very likely that we will see the game again with a certain compactness. Other major PlayStation 4 titles such as God of War and Days Gone have received improved editions for PlayStation 5, so it is not out of the question that The Last of Us Part II also officially made its way on the Playstation. 5.
There could even be a kind of downloadable content for The Last of US Part II in preparation, but given the lack of DLC support for the first game, it may not be the most likely.
Of course, Naughty Dog may also work on their other flagship series, Uncharted, or perhaps on a new IP address all together. Anyway, for all the latest information on the development plans of Naughty Dog, keep an eye on Cogconnesed!
