Resident Evil: Remakes and Part 7 come for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S
The “Resident Evil” games of the last console generation will receive a graphic upgrade – even on the PC.
Capcom restarts the new edition of Resident Evil 2 and 3…. The Remakes, but also Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will later shine in new splendor this year, if you appear for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S. But you can not only expect the horror tracks to run in higher resolution and fluid. Capcom even makes trouble implementing raytracing effects. There are also 3D audio support and PS5 Speiler are looking forward to the full support of the Features of the DualSense Controller. Thanks to haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, the survival champion in Raccoon City or the Louisiana setting of Part 7 is still more and more active.
More details have not called Capcom and there is no moving pictures from the new versions, but each one screenshot from each of the three games. They should certainly give a taste of the raytracing above all. Especially in the picture from Resident Evil 3 (far right), the new reflections are easy to recognize.
If you already have the games for the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you will be able to upgrade free. Capcom does not want to have money from you. And another good news is available for all PC players who now think: “Hey, I also want to have raytracing in the games!” At the same time with the new versions, the PC versions will receive relevant updates so that owners of well-equipped computers can experience the “Resident Evil” adventure in their best possible form.
